It's not the size of the heel, but the size of the spike that counts

I knew there was a good reason I was an Anglophile! They do everything louder, prouder and spikier. Just look at The Sex Pistols...

Or my latest obsession...Louise Goldin's beyond fierce spiked pumps. While I've been teased with these amazing photos, I can't find any outlets selling this particular pair. I want! I want! I want!

I guess I'll just have to wait until February 5th, when the designer releases a collaboration with Topshop. A little watered down, but still pretty fierce none-the-less.

Cuffs Couture Mon Amour!

Every once in awhile, I come across a product that makes me hang my head in shame that I didn't think of it first. Thus is the case once I discovered Cuffs Couture via ShopIntuition.com. Suddenly, all of my "I really don't want to bare the burden of carrying a handbag to this party/concert/sporting event" prayers have been answered...and so chicly!

These adorable cuffs are capable of holding all the essentials - ID, credit card, key, cash, etc. for an effortless night out on the town. I can't wait to get my hands (or wrist) on the Sasha style in black ($60)!!!

Let it Rain!

Into everyone’s life, a little rain must fall…even here in Sunny California.

Oh, how I wish I had the foresight to pick up these limited-edition Jimmy Choo for Hunter boots ($395) a few weeks ago so that there would be no rain on my style parade today. I think I see a trip to Saks in my future…

She Never Changes Her Spots...

I’ve been a fan of leopard print anything for just about as long as I can remember. If this worried my parents in any way, they never let on (thanks Mom and Dad!).

Below are a few of the items you may “spot” me wearing this season.

R&Y Augousti clutch at Barneys
A simple shape offsets the bold pattern perfectly, making this clutch a classic to grab onto for years to come ($385).

Alice + Olivia top at Bloomingdales
One-shoulder tops are oh-so-flattering. Add a fun leopard-print to it and I’m practically purring with delight ($242).

Christian Louboutain ankle booties at Saks
I have four words for you: Christian Louboutin ankle booties. Grrr baby, very grrr ($1,095).

This trench coat from INC International Concepts delivers maximum leopard-print punch for less than a C-Note. Not a bad option for the babe on a budget ($99).

Bea Valdes' Gem of a Necklace

I must have inherited a love for all things British from my Anglophile boyfriend. You know…Blur, Oasis, Range Rover and British Vogue.

It is on the cover of the September issue of the aforementioned fashion tome that I have discovered my latest obsession – a crystal necklace by Bea Valdes capable of making any diamond devotee re-think her ways.

While it may not be the Hope Diamond, the sparkler (available at Couture Lab) comes with a hefty price tag of nearly $1,200. The unique piece could be worn with everything from your no-brainer jeans and a tee look to your favorite LBD…making it worth its weight in Swarovski crystals.
